Welcome to the online home of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) branch serving Logan County, Ohio!

For more than 30 years, women in Logan County have been coming together to improve education and equity for women and girls. Through fundraising, a diverse membership and relevant programming, the Logan County Branch has become a valuable group in the community.

In 2004, AAUW/Logan County was one of only three Ohio branches awarded "gold status" under the Association's 21st Century Recognition Program!

Meetings are generally held on the third Wednesday of the month at 7 p.m. at various locations in the county.

Camp GEMS Recipient Announced.

The Camp GEMS Scholarship Committee (Jamie Ross, Peggy Dishop and Bonna Patrick sitting in for Amy Jones) met May 26th to review applications and select one girl to attend camp this summer. Last year we did not open up the application process to local schools because the oldest daughter of AAUW member Shawndel Wilson, Ashley Wilson, was afforded the opportunity to attend. Extending the scholarship to a club member's daughter when she is eligible has been a long-time policy of the committee and branch. As an 8th grader, Ashley falls into the right age-group to attend again this year.
