April AAUW Meeting Information

Spring is Here!
April 15, 2009
7:00 p.m.

Victorian Meadows Greenhouse
349 County Road 113 East
Rushsylvania, Ohio

Owner Tonya Cole will demonstrate how to make a “fairy garden” using plants found at the greenhouse. This is certain to be a magical evening as spring approaches in a setting bursting with new life. Victorian Meadows specializes in unusual and hard-to-find annuals, perennials, herbs, grasses and heirloom veggie plants.

There is a $15.00 fee for making the “fairy garden” which is a container garden featuring all dwarf plants. The soil will be prepared so as to last all season. Tonya will describe each plant and tell its purpose.

It is not necessary to make a reservation to attend this meeting. However, Tonya asks that members bring their own chairs!

Officers will be elected for the 2009-10 AAUW/Logan County year.

Chair: Carol Hartley
Committee: Dena Campbell, Diana Costin, Pat Rinehart-Irwin, Joy Wish
