From communications that Jamie has had regarding our potential co-hosting of the 2009 state convention (April 2009)...

"The hostess group picks the hotel etc. where the convention is to be held, arranges for a block of rooms to be held for attending AAUW members and arranges for food. This is all paid for by AAUW from conference fees. The only immediate thing is the site for the convention must be arranged by the April 2008 convention. I’m thinking this should not require a lot of meetings, I think most of it can be done by phone and e mail. Your committee and Dayton’s will need to decide who is doing what but how you and Joanne do it is up to you. Also Elaine from Piqua has agreed to help and she has done it before."
